Comedy Lounge was born from a simple conviction: that the best bread is made slowly, with ingredients you can trust, and in a space where people actually want to linger.
Located on Highway 138 SW in Riverdale, our kitchen has been a neighborhood staple for years — a place where sourdough starters are tended like family recipes, where pastries are pulled from the oven before the morning rush, and where the grocery shelf holds only what we'd serve our own tables.
We don't rush the process. Flour, water, salt, and time — that's the foundation. Everything else is a choice we make carefully, so you never have to.
The Process

We source stone-ground flours, local eggs, and seasonal produce from growers we know by name. If it doesn't pass our kitchen's standard, it doesn't make it to our shelves.
Rest
Our sourdough ferments for 24 to 48 hours. No shortcuts, no improvers — just patience. That slow rise develops flavor, texture, and a crust that cracks like glass.
Serve
